Role Profile:
• Reporting to the Senior ICT Category Manager, you will form part of the Procurement function within telent and be responsible for ensuring that all Purchase Orders and transactions are conducted in a timely an accurate manner.
• You will assist in any RFQ and supplier quote activities as directed by the Senior ICT Category Manager.
• You will ensure that any new supplier for the given category is compliant to the telent Supplier Approval process as appropriate.
• You will support the Senior ICT Category Manager as directed to ensure that all appropriate procurement processes are in place to support the overall business requirements.
• You will interface with stakeholders within telent’s ICT function.
• Communicate key Partner/Vendor performance information to the business as directed by the Senior ICT Category Manager.

We’d be delighted to hear from you if you have the following skills/experience:
• Good working knowledge and understanding of procurement processes and best practices
• Ability to analyse problems and develop and document process driven solutions
• A high attention to detail and ability to achieve high levels of data accuracy
• Confidence and ability to handle large volumes of data from different sources
• Experience of managing quantities of data from varying sources to extract insight to support strategic procurement and business decisions
• Proficient in Oracle especially Oracle iProcurement
• Experience with MS office products especially MS Excel
• Some understanding of Contractual terms including software licenses

Typical Deliverables:
• Managing the Oracle in box of all assigned spend categories and the processing of Purchase Orders as directed by the Category Management team
• Assisting in any Oracle iProcurement queries from the business as appropriate
• Supporting tenders, RFQ and supplier quote activities as assigned and directed by the Category Management team
• Support any supplier negotiation activities as directed by the Category Management team
• Support any supplier evaluation and analysis as part of tenders and RFQs
• Assisting the Category Management team to analyse spend data and make recommendations to support the creation and implementation overall category strategies
• Supporting the introduction of all Procurement processes as directed by the Procurement Management team
• Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of a supplier classification process within telent and supporting the Category Management team to ensure that all suppliers are categorised as they should be
• Assist with the creation and production of procurement reports and departmental metrics (spend, savings, others as required)
• Assisting in any telent internal or telent customer audit requirements from a Procurement perspective

Business Operations Skills – Qualifications: Behavioural Requirements:
• CIPS qualification would be ideal or working towards
• Depth and breadth of experience may be taken into account where these qualifications have not been obtained
• Degree desirable although HND / HNC/ 3 A levels or equivalent in an appropriate discipline will be considered
