A Nursery that we work very closely with is looking to hire a minimum of three and a maximum of five Nursery Practitioners and are happy to consider applications from Nursery Nurses and Nursery Assistants.

This is a Nursery that prides itself on providing a welcoming and nurturing environment that enables children to learn and develop to the best of their unique, individual abilities. The successful applicants will be working with children from 0-5 years of age, with babies, toddlers and pre-school children.

The Nursery is looking for applicants on both a full and part-time basis as there are a variety of shifts that they are hoping to have covered on a weekly, ongoing basis. These shifts range from, but are not limited to:

* 07:30 - 16:30
* 08:80 - 17:30
* 10:00 - 18:00

Responsibilities of the role:

* Contributing the highest standard of physical, emotional and social care for each child
* Tailoring best practice and routines to ensure that the individual needs of each child are able to be met throughout the day
* Developing bonds with key children and supporting colleagues when it is most required
* Building trust with all parents/carers, ensuring that a positive relationship is sustained through open and honest communication
* Working alongside the Manager/Room Leader to ensure that the Nursery’s vision is maintained

Requirements of the candidate:

* You must hold at least an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare/Early Childhood Studies
* A basic understanding of Ofsted expectations
* Good knowledge of the EYFS Framework
* Understanding of Safeguarding
* Ability to communicate effectively with the team and parents/carers
* Having a DBS on the online update service or the willingness to complete a new DBS application
