For this role the Network Support Engineer will be responsible for the investigation of network behaviour diagnostics root causes and advising on effective solutions. The Network Support Engineer is expected to support the installation at a variety of customer sites (travel may be required- expenses covered) and therefore have the responsibility of the observation process to ensure the new requirements are working successfully and to business standards. This will look like regularly liaising with customers and suppliers; taking ownership of ongoing fault investigations and being able to diagnose and recommend solutions. Once the recommended solution is agreed, the Network Support engineer will be responsible for the delivery of the solution in line with agreed stakeholder requirement.

For this position the Network Support engineer will need the following skills:

* Degree level qualification in Engineering, Telecom Networks or an equivalent.
* CCNA qualified.
* IP, VOIP and MPLS.
* Supporting and troubleshooting firewalls, VPNs and IDS/ IPS solutions.

This role will suit a candidate that has a real passion for networking as within a team environment of 6 people. There are also facilities to learn new Networking approaches in a test based lab environment. You will have come from a very Networking technical based background; reporting into the head of Post Design Services.

Due to the level of security clearance attached to this role. The Client is looking for British born nationals who are SC clearable.
