About your new school…

Prospero Teaching are proud to be working with a ‘good’ school in Warrington who are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant.

The school is easily accessible on public transport and they also have an onsite staff car park.

About your new role…

You will be responsible for helping students of a lower learning ability through their studies and the position will be made longer term for the right candidate.

This is a key stage 1 role predominantly, although you may be asked to help out in early years and key stage 2 and the school are happy to pay £60-80 per day.

The responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to;

* physically supporting the learners with the use or wheelchairs and other mobility;

* working outside in various weather conditions and taking part in vocational courses that includes animal care and gardening;

* regular outings to support students with independent living;

* and providing medical and personal care support.

About you...

To be successful in applying for this role, you will have;

* NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant;

* clean and enhanced DBS on the update service;

* experience working in a primary school setting;

* and experience of working with SEN children.

Also desirable for this role;

* Team Teach training;

* experience in key stage 1;

* experience in an SEN specialist school;

* and experience using visual timetables and symbols to aid learning.
