Role:
The role of the Project Manager is to implement the pre-agreed business engagement and communications strategy, manage the business engagement team, and oversee the development of the business engagement materials and the implementation of the business engagement processes. You will act as the main interface between the Programme and the business.
We are currently looking for proven delivery/experience in business engagement and communications for a large technology deployment:
Key Objectives:
* Work with the customer to implement the business engagement strategy, plan and processes for the business unit representatives and site contacts
* Manage and oversee the development and delivery of business engagement products against business engagement plans, working with the business user representatives and project contacts for timely delivery
* Work with business engagement developer on the content of the business engagement deliverables
* Ensure communication channels with the business are open and consistent
* Assist with delivery of structured communications eg Programme awareness sessions, road shows, workshops
* Management of stakeholders at all levels
* Build strong relationships and productive network that spans business and programme teams
* Work with any key business personnel, if in place, to ensure that the project is meeting the needs of the business
* Agree a rollout schedule with the business ensuring it does not impact critical times of the year;
* Troubleshoot and resolve solution gaps and customer expectations e.g. application rationalisation/licensing gaps etc
* Delivery of online/virtual business readiness forums
* Manage change control, risks and costs
* Attendance at internal weekly checkpoint meetings – creation of weekly Highlight Reports
* Escalate risks, time delays and issues though an approved reporting structure:

* PRINCE 2 Accredited;
* Relationship and Stakeholder management
* Vendor management
* Experience of desktop/ end user deployments
