A prestigious US Law Firm is looking to hire a new Legal Talent Recruitment Advisor to provide support to the London Talent function, assisting the Manager in the team with Trainee and Associate Recruitment. Responsibilities will include assisting with the full life-cycle recruitment process for trainee and lateral associates, implementing recruiting searches and strategies in coordination with the Trainee Recruitment & Legal Talent Manager, responding to inquiries from applicants or search firms on a timely, professional and accurate basis, assisting with candidate tracking, interview scheduling, travel/accommodation coordination and the collection and assessment of evaluations, assisting with the associate offer process, including 1st draft of the offer recommendation memos and approval, offer letter, due diligence, associate admission status, and compliance with risk management policies and procedures, ensure the accurate and timely tracking and payment of expenses related to the recruitment process, serve as firms representative at events related to offsite recruiting (e.g. law fairs) and diversity initiatives, update university career services websites with company information and position postings. Send out hard copy information when required, assist in the administration of the online application system, to include keeping candidates up to date with progress. Other duties include assisting with all aspects of the London Trainee programme, ensuring that appropriate documentation is produced and processed with regards the onboarding process each year, assisting with the trainee induction programme, co-ordinating with the various contributors to ensure trainees are effectively integrated into the firm, help facilitate the trainee performance evaluation process to ensure it is delivered effectively and that appropriate records are kept for both mid seat and end of seat evaluations, assist with the seat planning process and liaise with group heads, trainee supervisors, facilities and others to make sure seat changeovers take place effectively and smoothly. Other responsibilities include liaising with the summer programme committee and collate feedback from various sources to assist the Legal Talent Manager in making hiring recommendations, help coordinate summer programme activities, including practice area talks, socials, orientation, and training, serve as a member and coordinate the London office Summer Associate Committee, assist all aspects of new associate arrival, orientation and initial development, assist the Legal Talent Manager to conduct regular check-ins with associates to gauge satisfaction with their career, current engagement and utilization, serve as a resource to both practice group leaders and associates with respect to addressing morale-related issues and concerns. Candidates must be degree educated, with previous legal experience working within a Legal Talent team, as well as strong written, communication and organisational skills
