SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant required for work in an Outstanding SEN school in Slough; Berkshire.

If you are experienced supporting SEN pupil's and have a real want to positively develop and contribute to pupils education, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Monarch Education are currently working in partnership with a fantastic SEN school in Slough, who are looking to recruit teaching assistant's to work with pupils in their school with additional & complex needs. the school is an extremely lovely school that is well liked by the candidates Monarch have placed there historically. known for their supportive and skilled senior leadership team as well as fantastic resources and creative education structure, the school is a great place for someone wanting to further their career as an SEN TA and thrive to positively impact young students development.

Pupils who require this additional support may have needs such as:
• ASD (Autism)
• Specific Learning Disorders (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Dyscalculia)
• SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health)
• Moderate Learning Difficulties
• Profound & Multiple
• Severe Learning Difficulties
• Behavioural Difficulties

As a suitable candidate, you will be confident building effective relationships with pupils and working with a wider school team to support the pupils specific needs. You will be responsible for encouraging the positive emotional, social and academic development of these children. Training in areas such as Makaton, PECs, Team-Teach are an advantage but are not essential and confidence with personal care is a must.

Our designated SEN consultant has been working with schools across Berkshire for over 6 years and has built up an excellent reputation for putting our staff first. The schools we work with appreciate the positive relationships we build with our teachers and this is evident when they speak to our staff.
