About the Role:
The SEN Teaching Assistant role will be ideal for someone who has a positive and caring approach when working with children who have special educational needs (SEN). You will be required to work closely with the class teacher and support students, encouraging them to engage with various activities to help them to achieve success. Experience and understanding of Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

About you:
•Excellent behaviour management skills.
•Punctual and reliable.
•Calm and resilient approach.
•A passion for helping young people progress and develop.
•Previous experience of working with young people with Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

About the school:
This special school caters for young people in KS1 & KS2 with Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). It is based in North Manchester and has easy accesss to the main transport links. The site has excellent facilities, with high ratios of staffing and medical professionals available.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
•Experience with a range of complex needs such as PMLD, SLD and ASD
•A positive and caring attitude with a flexible approach
•The ability to work within a team
•Experience with personal care
