Our client, a membership organisation, are looking for a Reward Specialist to assist with a project to develop a new pay/reward system. This will enable them to:

* Position themselves appropriately in the market place

* Attract and retain talented people

* Promote employee engagement, motivation, satisfaction, performance and commitment

* Provide equal pay for work of equal value

* Provide a transparent, affordable and sustainable way of rewarding their employees

This will involve working with the HRD to develop a total reward strategy that is aligned with and supports delivery of the Strategic Plan. This will involve:

* Analysing their current pay levels within the organisation against relevant market benchmarking to identify and report on any potential issues or risks

* Consulting with management and staff to understand the culture of the organisation – where it is now and how they want it to evolve and develop

* Consider their existing systems that are relevant to reward and make recommendations for review or updating as appropriate

* Designing a range of options for a new pay/reward model for consideration by the senior leadership team

* Developing appropriate policies and systems to implement the new model

* Develop an implementation plan that identifies the steps required to implement change including any potential legal/procedural considerations to be addressed and provide operational support for implementation

You will need to have carried out a similar reward project elsewhere, ideally in a not for profit organisation or SME with a proven ability to implement a new pay and reward system.
