Helpdesk Advisor

Lancaster, LA1 - City Centre

We are delighted to be recruiting for our fabulous client based in Lancaster. They now need a new person to join their help desk team. This is a front line role to help clients and customers with queries and to problem solve solutions.

If you have any help desk experience, or experience speaking to customers on the phones then we would love to hear from you ASAP. Full training will be provided on the in house systems to ensure you can do a brilliant job as you learn. You will enjoy helping customers and being part of a friendly small and helpful team.

Responsibilities include:

Providing the first point of contact for all customers
Providing best practice advice, guidance and knowledge on the use of the software platform
Working to an agreed set of customer SLAs you will provide a fair, timely and high quality consistent service.
Building relationships with key customer contacts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and continued growth
Skills and experience

You’ll have a strong solution driven attitude and be able to demonstrate this with examples of problem solving
A strong interest in tech, with the ability to clearly explain even the most complicated ideas to a non-techy audience
You’re confident, friendly and outgoing and capable of being enthusiastic even when faced with difficult problems
The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, be a strong communicator, organised and analytical with the ability to work well under pressure in a technically challenging environment.
