You will play a key role in supporting a variety of marketing activities across the team. This requires a background of Social Media and Marketing skills as well as clear communication, excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

Marketing and Social Media responsibilities include:

* Writing and organising content for publications including blogs, customer magazine, social media, corporate websites, LinkedIn, Events. etc.

* Creating engaging content for our social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused

* Seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences

* Creating content that promotes audience interaction and participation

* Working as part of a team to propose and develop social media campaigns

* Propose new ideas and concepts for social media communications and content

* Manage social media across various platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms

* Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience. interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary

* Establish marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts

* Oversee current offerings and creating initiatives for new products or services

* Work with creative media staff to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams

* Assisting with the organisation and delivery of a number of corporate events

* Plan networking events building strong client relationships

Other Responsibilities include:

* Researching, writing and posting content for social media

* Writing blogs and press releases

* Collating information and liaising with local businesses for a range of printed publications

* Dealing with telephone and email enquiries

* Researching local events

* Data input

* General administrative duties

Person Specification

A confident, pleasant individual with a can do attitude and good standard of marketing experience

* Social media management experience

* Excellent written English and oral communication skills for drafting and proof-reading materials

* Experience with a variety of software packages (including Excel and PowerPoint) to manage data and produce documents and presentations.

* Experience of content management systems (CMS) to maintain and update websites and internal databases

* The ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks and workload

* A pleasant telephone manner

* A team player, capable of working under own initiative

* Confidence, common sense, trust, integrity, and sense of humour

* A full clean driving licence.
