c£28,000 to £35,000

Marlow, Buckinghamshire

* Temp-to-perm, with a view to going permanent approx. 6 months

* 20% of the role involves travel to both UK and overseas events

* Full, clean UK driving license required

Aston Elite is looking for an outstanding Events Coordinator to join our prestigious client based in Marlow, Bucks, to plan and implement their sales and marketing strategy. You will personable, highly organised and resourceful with the ability and willingness to travel to overseas events as required. This is an exciting and varied role, and an exceptional career opportunity for the right person.

Responsibilities of the Events Coordinator

* Create and manage project plans for marketing and event activities.

* Overseeing the delivery of each event from start to finish, coordinating vendors, locations, and marketing materials.

* Lead generation and client retention, maximising the conversions of enquiries to bookings

* Execute project plans, timelines and schedules,

* Tracks and maintain budgetary responsibilities, estimating costs and managing projects to completion.

* Facilitates communication among members of the project team and other internal stakeholders.

* Provide administrative support and other duties, as assigned.

Skills and experience required for the Events Coordinator

* Personable, confident and self-sufficient.

* Excellent IT skills including Int/Adv MS Office.

* CRM system knowledge (i.e. Salesforce) and working knowledge of web conferencing software (i.e. WebEx).

* Outstanding organisational, project and time management skills.

* Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members.

* Strong English communication skills as well as editing, writing, and proof-reading skills.

* Able to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

* Can meet tight deadlines while staying on track toward completion of long term projects, goals and budget.

* Hold a full, clean UK driving license
