At the heart of our service to our employer clients and their staff are our Talent Coaches, whose key role is to support and guide engaged staff through every stage of their journey. You will be at the leading edge of our commitment to provide every staff member with an outstanding experience and help our clients see a clear return on their investment. We are seeking Talent Coaches with experience of TLA and developing the skills, behaviours and competencies of apprentices in the following sectors:
• Business Admin, Customer Service, Team Leading and Management Level 5
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Coach apprentices to reach their full potential by providing key support, mentoring, challenge and motivation throughout all aspects of their learning journey.
• Identify and assess learners' needs and put in place robust learning plans, with realistic and challenging goals, that enable learners to understand their personal journey and realise their potential.
• Deliver high quality, informative and inspiring learning and development workshops to groups of learners, where appropriate.
• Actively support, mentor and motivate learners across the entire learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification. Contact will be varied and might include face to face, email, Skype, webinars etc.
• Innovating programme content and teaching, learning and assessment methodologies to meet individual apprentice and business needs.
• Enacting effective programme delivery utilising a coaching and blended learning pedagogy to train, monitor, develop and assess apprentices against relevant qualification Standards/ frameworks supporting them attaining occupational competence.
• Observe, mark, assess and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the awarding body. Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help the learner maximize their potential.
• Assess and monitor learner progress & performance in line with the apprenticeship frameworks/ standards and the occupational expectations of the business. Maintain and record data in accordance with the funding body and Awarding organisation requirements.
• Coaching and developing of apprentices through progress reviews, welfare support and careers guidance to aid their progression, attainment and transition into the business.
• Providing and monitoring the effective safeguarding, SHE, welfare and support arrangements for apprentices throughout their programme.
• Effectively recording /reporting of performance data in support of delivery outstanding outcomes for apprentices.
• Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.
• Completing of apprentices into final positions.
Essential Criteria
 Good level of IT Skills
 Full driving licence
 Qualified and able to deliver Functional Skills in English and Maths at level 2
 Vocational qualification at a level to meet awarding organisation requirements and at least to level 3 or above in relevant area or:
 1 year recent and relevant experience of working within vocational area
 D32/D33 or A1 Award or TAQA
 Teaching qualification
 Experience within an talent coach or teaching role working with learners of all ages
 Proven track record of meeting targets
 Experience of working in the training/education sector
 An appreciation and understanding of skills sector funding streams competence and knowledge based
 Knowledge of qualifications and awarding organisation standards
 Knowledge of safeguarding and Prevent
 Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks
 Understanding of e-portfolios
 An ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people
 Have a passion for learning
 Ability to manage a constant workload with conflicting demands to achieve timely targets
 Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
 Appropriate professional appearance
 Well organised and self-reliant
 Is personable and engaging
 An enthusiastic approach within a target orientated environment
 Commitment to high professional and personal standards of work and of conduct
 Attendance at networking and marketing events
 Flexible working hours, may include evenings and weekends
