Grass Roots Academic Support are working with a College in Cambridge who are looking to appoint an experienced Carpentry lecturer who is looking to work in a college committed to becoming outstanding?

They are seeking a self-motivated and confident individual to deliver high quality teaching to students with a wide range of skills, knowledge and abilities. This exciting role will involve the design and delivery of Construction Crafts courses (predominantly carpentry) to a wide range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings. In addition, the post holder will also support students in completing their NVQ qualifications, including visiting them in the workplace to assess their competence. The successful candidate will need to hold qualifications at level 3 or Advanced Craft in Site carpentry, and be able to demonstrate in depth subject knowledge. Experience of lecturing or assessing is desirable, but full training would be available for highly motivated candidates who can demonstrate suitable industrial knowledge, and passion for working within the further education sector to train the next generation of the industries workforce.
