The successful candidate will be friendly, helpful, hardworking, strong, accurate, dedicated and highly skilled on Sage 50 & Microsoft excel.
Type of role: Permanent – Full time

Prior Education: GCSE A-C grade English and Maths
Ideal software skills: Sage Accounting, Microsoft Office

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Preparation prior to interview: Review company website

Job Description:

* Sage / Excel

* Cross reference delivered parts with delivery notes and also PO’s.

* Raise PO’s for required items emphasising importance on items with length lead-times

* Communicate to production to avoid low stock issues

* Data entry - parts in stock. Re-order when falls below required buffer levels

* Data entry - Transfer current parts from old system to excel

* Sign off invoices compared to purchase orders

* Sage200 experience is essential for higher earnings.

* Quality control / Supplier communication

* Check all items are of adequate quality standards

* Liaise with suppliers regarding quality issues

* Liaise with suppliers regarding lead-time

* Forklift / scissor lift

* Essential use of forklift / scissor lift - Training will be provided

* Local collection

* May be required to use a company vehicle to collect a local supplier delivery

* Any other tasks deemed necessary
