Our client is an award-winning construction company based in Greater Manchester. They continue to grow year-on-year and are looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to join their busy team.

What will the role include?

Sourcing new clients

* Attending industry networking events, exhibitions and seminars to promote the company and develop potential new client relationships.

* Contacting potential new clients for sales meetings.

* Helping to coordinate the client journey from initial cold lead to negotiated project.

* Assisting in the monitoring of construction market business intelligence to help identify prospective new clients/bids and any other BD tasks.

Existing client management

* Helping to maintain relationships with existing clients.

* Helping to coordinate the company’s internal and external events.

* Helping to coordinate the Customer Service feedback process and ensure feedback forms are received if relevant.

Marketing communications

* Raise overall brand awareness and manage reputation.

* Assisting in social media internet marketing activities

* Assisting with press releases.

* Coordinate internal communications

* Producing case studies.

* Entering the company for awards.

* Carrying out and organising CSR activities

Bid writing

* Supporting the bid writing process for individual projects.

* Assisting the preparation of framework bids including carrying out presentations.

* Completing forms, questionnaires, etc for clients to help the company qualify for select lists / frameworks etc.

* Maintaining and updating staff CV’s and organograms and any other documents used in bids.

* Checking online portals for new project opportunities.

* Helping to keep the company website up to date with new projects and news stories.

* Act as an ambassador for the company at all times.

* Work with and support colleagues.

* Identify opportunities for self-improvement and professional development training.

* Completion of tasks as requested by Directors.

This is a really great opening for the right candidate with very good progression opportunity in the future. A salary of £18k-£21k per annum dependant on experience is offered with working hours of 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday.
