Payroll/Time & Attendance Administrator

Woodstock House, Surbiton KT6

Kisimul Group is recruiting for a Payroll/Time & Attendance Administrator to join our Payroll team. The post is based at our residential school at Woodstock House in Surbiton, Surrey.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with 30 days annual leave.

About The Job:

The post-holder will work under the direction of the Group Payroll Manager to provide confidential Time & Attendance and Payroll processes, annual leave monitoring and expenses administration.

You will produce documentation and correspondence to a high standard and in agreed formats, at all times respecting the confidentiality of the work and Data Protection.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

* Working alongside Finance Administrator, as follows:

* To ensure Time and Attendance (Rota Horizon) and payroll system (Frontier CHRIS) are kept up to date

* Ensure hours are input timely and accurately to Rota Horizon, on a daily basis

* Ensure all attendance/absence data in Rota Horizon feeds through to Frontier CHRIS

* To learn aspects of the payroll process to provide support for the Finance Administrator cover, when necessary

* Act as central point for payroll enquiries, resolving queries and reporting discrepancies to Finance or HR

* Maintain accurate records of annual leave/attendance and sickness and providing reports as requested by Management

* Provide a central point for the submission of expense claims to Finance

* Undertake projects, as requested, to enhance the service of the School

* Identify personal training needs and attend appropriate development training

* Adhere to the Employee Handbook and all Company Policies and Procedures

* Carry out duties, as required

Essential Experience Skills & Qualifications

* Experience using Time and Attendance Systems

* 2 years Payroll Processing experience and knowledge of Payroll Systems

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/spreadsheets to include V-look ups and Pivot Tables

* Accurate data entry

* Good time management

* Attention to detail

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills/English language and maths

* Annual Leave monitoring experience

* Ideally working towards CIPP qualificiation

Remuneration Package

The successful applicant will be offered a remuneration package that will consist of a basic salary of £21,315.00 per annum, as well as comprehensive training and other company benefits such as: Pension, Life Assurance, Child Care Voucher Scheme and not to forget our Stunning Work Locations.
