A rare opportunity to work for a prestigious up and coming company with an ambitious workforce, currently spearheading the scientific research market, offering massive potential and exciting new challenges. After being established 7 years ago, they still carry a start-up mentality with long term goals in mind which will be made possible by the strong financial backing they have received from numerous VC firms (an estimated $50,000,000 raised so far) and plans for series D funding within the next 6 months.

This person will work closely with the business development team to establish and obtain new strategic relationships with clients to create reliable revenue streams that will contribute towards the growth and expansion.

Roles and responsibilities:

Helping to drive growth in the European market and supporting our global Marketing, Business Development and Sales teams, tasks include but are not limited to:

Market analysis, such as identifying potential new clients and providers
Managing strategic relationships with key providers and clients
Overseeing and utilizing subscription data sources, (eg,, Zoominfo, Zymewire,, BioPharm Insight and/or Medtrack)
Collaborating with internal team members to organize current account engagement (including onsite customer event, seminars, etc.)
Developing, implementing, and managing new programs to deliver value to Science Exchange providers
Prospecting for new opportunities (e.g. networking, lead generation, relationship building, lead follow-up), with an end goal of executing a strategic supplier agreement or new enterprise client
Collaborating closely with other functions of the company (particularly customer success, product, sales, and marketing) to deliver an exceptional experience for the providers on the Science Exchange marketplace


Minimum of earned Bachelor’s degree in science
Initial experience of scientifically related sales, business development, or vendor management
Demonstrated ability to work creatively in a fast-paced, occasionally ambiguous, environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present information
Ability to travel up to 25% of the year
Experience with CRM (eg Salesforce), Excel, or data visualization tools is a plus
Proficiency in all MS-Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
