My client is currently undergoing a business transformation an opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to be a part of the ongoing innovation within the company.

Key Experience:

* Databases – Microsoft SQL Server and NoSQL e.g MongoDB and Elastic search

* Operating systems – Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server and Linux e.g. CentOS

* Integration tools – such as NiFi, Message queuing and middleware e.g. RabbitMQ and Kafka

* Minimum 5+ years' experience, ideally supporting software and infrastructure

* Hardware and Software diagnosis & support experience

* Crisis management experience


* Knowledge of network devices, their use and practical application

* Having worked within a VMWare, Hyper-V or other virtualised environment

* ITIL best practice appreciation

* Knowledge and support of SDLC tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Docker and Agile methodologies

* Financial services FIX Engines, ECNs, FSD Extranets

* Protocols and API’s, such as FIX, REST, XML, JSON, SOAP

You will be expected to do the following:

* Work with Product Owners to help deliver product roadmaps outlining key items such as product enhancement and technical innovation

* Review and ensure the delivery of test plans meet expected quality standards

* Work as part of a technical team in a collaborative and innovative way, to proactively raise service standards

* Lead support engagements for key Managed Service customers

* Document all relevant end user information relevant to the problem being investigated

* Provide remote support to customers

* Update technical support documentation when required

* A requirement for shift work and on-call support
