Central Employment are delighted to be the recruitment partner of choice, for a leading North East eCommerce firm who operate within the consumables sector as the seek a Search Marketing Executive (SEO).

Due to on-going growth and investment to their internal digital team, they are looking for an ambitious SEO Executive to join their marketing team, reporting to the Acquisition Manager, you will be joining an experienced team and thriving company. You will ideally hold a minimum of 2 years working within SEO, using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and third party reporting tools.

You will know what SEO best practise looks like, reviewing backlinks, on-site technical changes such as meta and loading speed and also up and coming pressure points such as AMP/Mobile experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

* Implementing a best in class SEO strategy encompassing technical structure and content optimisation.

* Regularly reviewing, evaluating and benchmarking the SEO channel to ensure appropriateness to deliver the sales and profit plan cost effectively.

* Determining the appropriate enhancements and upgrades that are required to the in-house SEO infrastructure to deliver the current and future needs of the business. Where appropriate, working with external development teams to deliver these requirements, managing the associated change process.

* Safeguard against any penalties from search engines through following sustainable SEO techniques.

* Day to day upkeep and optimisation of all content and landing pages, identifying and prioritising key areas and user journeys to improve traffic and conversion rates.

* Developing a suite of appropriate reports and operational KPIs that demonstrate the performance of the SEO channel.

* Monitor algorithmic changes in the search engines to determine when and how to adapt our proven delivery methodology.

* Developing strong relationships with the Web and Social teams to deliver best in class search visibility and traffic in support of marketing campaigns.

* Building relationships with key partners and influencers both internally and externally to drive online visibility through content partnerships and gifting.

* Delivering targeted traffic levels and sales by improving the efficiency from the channels within targeted cost, CPA & ROI.

* Own the digital marketing sales and marketing budgets for the Natural Search channels.

* Competitor monitoring and benchmarking.

* Working across International platforms where necessary to help create best practice implementation, and ongoing techniques to safeguard and grow performance across territories.

Required skills/experience:

* Experience of SEO optimisation and development, preferably in an E-Commerce related role

* Experience of working effectively with internal and external partners

* Experience in using SEO measurement and insight tools

* Strong focus on results and achieving targets

* Track record of producing high quality, accurate work under pressure

* Exposure to a fast paced online trading environment

* Commercial knowledge and expertise

* Excellent communication and relationship building skills
