Job Title: 1st Line IT support

Salary: £18,000- £20,000

Location: Woking

Our Client, located in Woking are seeking a bright and enthusiastic new member of their technical support team.

Main Job Purpose:

* To provide initial technical support

* To qualify all calls received

* Validation of Support Agreements

* Managing outstanding call lists and escalate where needed

Key areas of responsibility:

* Act as the client's initial point of contact

* Collate call details and log for the benefit of the helpdesk

* Validation of support contracts, ensuring necessary information is obtained in order to progress

* To assign call to appropriate next person

* Managing the call queue and re-assigning or escalating where needed

* Being the point of contact for the "returns"

* Working to tight SLAs.

* Knowledge, skills & experience.

Required:

* Strong communications skills

* Willing to learn and progress

* Ability to prioritise and manage workloads appropriately

* Ability to work individually & as part of a team

Advantageous, but not essential, if applicants have had past exposure to firewall-support, network-support (TCP/IP), Routing & Switching) as well as anti virus solutions
