Location flexible within the Midlands as this is a regional role.

This very successful and flourishing retailer are looking for someone who can “think outside the box” and bring with them, energy and fresh thinking. As Loss Prevention manager you will be responsible for all aspects of loss prevention and security for your area supporting the business in areas of shrinkage, fraud and security.

The Role:

* Develop and increase awareness of loss prevention.

* Provide an efficient and effective profit protection service to all areas of the business, especially in relation to stock loss, Cash loss and the protection of people and property.

* Help identify and minimise the risks of losses relating to both Internal and External areas.

* Produce suitable risk reduction strategies, in the first instance focused on the retail sector, but will also include eCommerce, International business, Head Office and Distribution Centre operations.

* Conduct investigations and communicate findings and make recommendations for improvements going forward.

* Reduce shrinkage throughout the business.

* Investigate issues of internal theft/abuse and put in place remedies to prevent/reduce repeat occurrences.

* Think outside the box and challenge current policies and procedures and implement recommendations to protect the business.

* Increase Loss Prevention awareness by supporting, motivating and training and deliver best practice across the retail business.

* Budget Management

* Monitor and react in a timely manner to all Loss Prevention incidents.

The Person:

* Extensive experience within a multi-site retail operation.

* Excellent people, communication and influencing skills.

* Attention to detail is important as well as a high level of numeracy skills.

* Investigations experience.

* A self-starter with strong planning and organisational skills.

* Incorporate new thinking and understand new technology and techniques that could benefit the business.

* The ability to be build relationships

* Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills

* Have a flexible approach with the willingness to travel and stay away from home at short notice when required.

* Can lead and demonstrates passion and commitment

* Be able to challenge others and remain positive in a fast pace ever changing environment
