Role: Healthcare Information Analyst

Package: Up to £55K PA + Life Assurance, 5% Pension, 25 days holiday, Private Health

Location: Home working, occasional site visits across the UK, London Head office visits occasional.

Job Description:

A leading private healthcare provider are looking for an experienced Information Analyst, with practical experience of analysing and reporting on; clinical, financial, management & operational issues. This role is part of a permanent Information Services function of 9 FTEs, you will be working from home in the main, and responsible for communicating and engaging across service lines and very senior management.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Engage with clinicians, senior management, and the parent business based in Australia to understand business reporting and analytics requirements.

* Developing the Extract Transform & Load (ETL) procedures from their main data warehouse; SAP Data Services for a number of analytical and reporting requirements.

* Analyse data, drawing down from performance reports meaningful internal KPIs to be reported on with regards to Clinical, Financial and Operational standards.

* Analysing data sets using complex Excel models and statistical modelling methods. Building meaningful reports on the front-end using SAP Business Objects.

* To manage and develop electronic data flows to ensure timeliness, completeness and accuracy of data, undertaking validation processes to achieve and maintain very high standards of data quality.

* To provide user advice, develop training materials and associated competencies for the analytical services.

* SLAM reporting for their NHS integrated services, clinical coding analysis.

Skills and Experience

* A relationship builder, excellent engagement skills internally and externally is vital.

* Strong SQL server skills, ETL experience, experience of SAP Data Services and SAP Business Objects would be ideal.

* Understanding of the NHS or wider healthcare sector would be nice but isn’t too important.

* Relevant professional experience in Excel statistical modelling (important), Business Objects (nice to have).

* Advanced numerical and analytical skills.

* Proven ability to analyse and document complex business processes resulting in specifications for information systems.

* Proven ability to effectively interact with a range of business and technical stakeholders.

* Ability to work well in a team and autonomously with excellent communication skills.
