Account Manager – PR & Advertising Agency


Salary £27,000 - £28,500

Our client is an award winning fast growing PR & Advertising agency based near Birmingham City Centre. Due to successful high profile client wins, they now have an opportunity for an Account Manager to join the consumer team.

Job Description

* Managing and servicing a portfolio of high profile accounts

* Liaising with clients, acting as an extension of their team and nurturing a strong, professional relationship, built on trust

* Developing relationships with key influencers to secure client coverage

* Selling-in client stories to national and regional journalists to deliver hard-hitting campaigns which meet or beat targets

* Helping to create valuable, relevant and consistent content for clients, which helps to attract and retain a clearly defined audience

* Understanding the changing media agenda and keeping abreast of the media landscape

* Identifying news hooks and reactive opportunities for all clients

* Supporting on new business pitches, helping with research, creative ideation and providing valuable insight to the team for new campaigns

* Assisting with event organisation and management

The ideal candidate will be passionate about PR, have outstanding written and verbal communications skills, be highly organised, creative and a team player. We are looking for an Account Manager who can prove themselves to be energetic, dynamic, proactive, resilient, and keen to learn and grow within a fast-paced agency environment.


* Educated to degree standard

* Will ideally hold a full, clean driving licence

* Have three or more years’ PR experience, ideally from an agency background
