Role Snapshot:
We are looking for a Head Office based Stock Control Assistant, working within the Finance Team, supporting the Stock Controller and Head of Loss Prevention in achieving their key deliverables:
* Ensure Company stock is valued according to accounting principals
* Maintain accuracy of stock units on the Company systems
* Minimise stock loss across the estate
The ideal candidate will be organised, conscientious and work to a high degree of accuracy. A keen interest in Retail & Loss Prevention is desirable, with Excel Skills essential to the role.

Responsibilities:
Stocktakes:
* Assist with the stocktake process, procedures, processing and reporting
* Manage store communication, queries and documentation
* Assist with the Head Office stocktake and system reconciliation
Stock Systems & Procedures
* Gain full understanding of the Head Office, Store and Warehouse stock systems
* Understand, update and distribute Store stock procedures
* Review and action Store and Warehouse stock adjustments
* Complete Warehouse and Head Office stock system reconciliations
* Deal with daily Store and Company stock queries
* Perform weekly Warehouse stock checks
* Manage the Click & Collect order lifecycle
Loss Prevention
* Review and check weekly Store stock counts
* Analyse and monitor Store Refund Compliance
* Manage procurement of Store security equipment
* Manage and review Security Guard rotas and invoice reconciliation
* Assist with Insurance Claim documentation for thefts and damages
Reporting & Accounting Processes
* Contribute to Stock Reporting for the Weekly Trading Pack
* Assist with producing Month End information
* Provide support for Year End Audit information requests
Adhoc.
* Provide support for Stock Control and Loss Prevention where required
* Provide support with New System Installation and System Upgrade Testing
Expertise & Skills Match:
Essential:
* Good working knowledge of Excel & MS Office
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Organised and methodical with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to multi-task
Desirable:
* Retail and Loss Prevention experience
* Multiple systems experience
* Experience working in a Finance/Accounting function
