At Roche we are passionate about transforming patients’ lives, developing innovative medicines and diagnostic tests that help patients live longer, better lives.The Regional Technical Manager is responsible for ensuring Roche Diagnostics UK deliver the required level of engineering support whilst managing the available resources effectively within an assigned region.As part of the UK Field Engineering Team you will live or relocate within the territory and manage a number of field engineers, offering support on all of the diagnostics products within the Roche portfolio. The role will require working in the field and head office, liaising closely with other regional TMs and sales colleagues.You will report to the Technical Services Manager – Engineering and provide management to your team as well as deliver yourself the range of services the engineering team perform; including installation, maintenance, repair modification and out of hours support to customers on products ranging from large to medium sized equipment. You will monitor and act appropriately upon key metrics to provide an effective and efficient service in key NHS/University laboratories and private service providers.With exciting plans for future equipment launches in the pipeline and a strong R&D investment, you will be coming in to the Technical support team at an opportune time to support significant growth within key business accounts across your territory and the UK. Who you areYou will be qualified to an ONC/HND/Degree level or above in electrical/electronics or relevant science subject. With in-depth knowledge of troubleshooting medical devices you will bring a strong degree of technical service expertise to the position.
