The successful candidate will be responsible for epidemiological/statistical programming to produce analysis datasets and statistical analyses and reports for observational research studies.



The role will involve interpreting plans of analysis developed by our epidemiologists. Candidates with experience of contributing to the development of these type of plans through their epidemiological knowledge or database or statistical knowledge will be particularly favoured. The main skills required however are the ability to interpret and clarify the details of an analysis plan and to implement the programming necessary to deliver the results requested.


Prior experience with large observational data sources such as CPRD and observational research methods is strongly desired.


Main duties & responsibilities:


Programming, testing and documentation of statistical programs
Creating statistical tables, figures, and listing
Programming of analysis datasets (derived datasets) and transfer files for internal and external client
Directly communicate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure appropriate understanding of requirements and project timelines




Key requirements:


Statistical programming in SAS within the CRO/Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industries
Knowledge of CPRD and observational research
Advanced knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Graph and SAS Macro Language
Ability to lead teams and projects and capable of managing at a group level
Degree in computer science or related field and 3 years relevant experience
