This expanding development / construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager on a 3 year, £8million new build contract specialising in the development of exclusive family homes in beautiful countryside settings.

They are proud to be members of National Federation of Builders (NFB) and House Builders Association (HBA), the construction industry's longest established trade association representing small and medium-sized house builders.

Reporting into the Contract Manager, as their new Site Manager, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:
- Assist with setting out of projects
- Ensure all works are carried out safely, to programme, within budget and in accordance with all design standard
- Management of subcontractors and direct labour effectively to consistently deliver value to the highest standard of workmanship
- Maintaining quality control procedure
- Liaise with clients as a representative of the company
- Manage all aspects of health and safety compliance including carry out risk assessments, ensuring staff are fully compliant with current Health & Safety expectations and standards and within company policies
- Forward plan onsite activities to work within programme to meet schedule of works and plan all resources for personal and materials accordingly
- Programme works into Microsoft Project or similar software

Essential Requirements
- A valid SMSTS Certificate
- A valid CSCS Card
- A valid First Aid Certificate
- Excellent Organisational Skills
- Trade or Site engineering background
- Have a detailed understanding of the house building process from a technical and managerial perspective
- Experience with Microsoft Project or similar software.
- Have a high level of Health & Safety awareness and relevant competencies/qualifications
