This established team provides a comprehensive service to corporate and commercial clients including drafting of contracts and employer documentation, strategic HR advice, corporate support and restructuring exercises. It is also instructed in tribunal proceedings, post termination disputes and contractual claims advising both employers and employees.
Applications are welcome from qualified solicitors and CILEX members. The nature of the role requires not less than 2 years’ specialist employment law experience including HR advice, managing tribunal proceedings, advising on merits of employment law claims and preparing employment law contracts and policy documentation.
The nature of the clients’ business and industry sectors provides an interesting and diverse range of instruction such as dismissal cases, fitness to work, occupational stress, contractual breaches as well as statutory unfair dismissal and discrimination cases. The quality of instructions is excellent and you will be afforded plenty of direct client contact.
As well as managing you own caseload, you will be supported in developing wider client management and business development skills. The team presents lectures, seminars and training to clients and targeted business groups and therefore the role requires a confident and outgoing lawyer, who is happy to be involved in this side of the business.
