Working on behalf of individuals regarding insurance compensation, your role is to get the claim processed quickly and correctly, ensuring the insurers process a speedy refund if the customer is within their right to claim.

Working on the case throughout the whole process, you will be there every step of the way, from the first notice to the insurance company right up the minute the cash is put into the claimant's bank account.

As you're probably expecting, there's lots of paperwork to be done, but your day job will also include:

• Liaising with the claimant and advising them on any issues that arise
• Help the insurer investigate the claim to ensure it is genuine
• Working with risk analysts, brokers and underwriters
• Ensuring a fair settlement and good customer service for the client

Expect to spend a lot of time in front of the computer and on the phone, there is lots of talking and negotiating to be done in this job.

You will be office based 100% of the time and working hours are 9h - 17h and 11h - 19h either one or two night a week, depending on work load.

The salary for this role is £15,500 rising to £16,500 after 6 months' probation.
20 days holiday per annum + 8 statutory
