Sales Manager / New Business Development Manager

An ambitious Sales Manager / New Business Development Manager is needed to join a leading Print & Full Service Marketing company based in Newbury. Expect the rare opportunity to progress your career, taking up an integral new business development sales role (no print sale experience required), within an established firm.

They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager / New Business Development Manager to join their small dedicated team.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Manager / New Business Development Manager, will be responsible for generating and nurturing new business relationships (you will be out and about visiting clients for the majority of your week). Working autonomously, you will generate new business and identify new opportunities. Whether you are attending prospective client meetings, identifying client needs or conducting outbound activities, it will be your sales skills that will be essential in winning new clients.

To qualify. You should be an ambitious Sales Manager / New Business Development Manager / Sales Executive / Account Manager / Field Sales Manager / Business Development Executive / Field Sales Representative or similar, with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience in a similar new business / sales role;
  • The ability self-manage your own diary and journey plans;
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills;
  • An outgoing, poised and persuasive communication style that enables you to build rapport;
  • Success in a similar target driven role;
  • A natural ability to close sales via your own generated leads and supplied leads, by phone, email or meetings;
  • The flexibility to travel and a full UK driving licence.
