This company is looking to recruit a Billings Specialist/Fee Charger.

Position Objective
A central resource supporting partners in dealing with billing related activities. Liaising with Matter Administration and Revenue Control teams to ensure data integrity and knowledge share.

The employee is responsible for accurate and timely completion of the principal responsibilities listed below.

Assist in identifying and implementing ways to develop and deliver improvements to the service provided.

Position Expectations
Core Position Expectations:
- Supporting the Partners to identify when in the month billing guides are required and coding as appropriate
- Initiating ad-hoc billing guide requests as required
- Input billing guide amendments to the pre-billing system as required
- Review time narratives for accuracy of recording, identifying and correcting typos etc.
- Forwarding billing guides to alternative reviewers and editors as required in the pre-bill system
- Dealing with complex client billing and reporting issues
- Liaising with the Working Capital Support team to assist in the resolution of queries
- Preparation of narratives and breakdowns as required
- Facilitating the preparation and generation of reports for clients regarding fee information, unbilled disbursements, outstanding invoices etc.
- Maintaining and updating project specific client spreadsheets for fee earners and Partners
- Facilitating the dispatch of bills to clients as required in line with the clients requirements
- Liaising with Credit Control as required
- Promote a culture of mutual understanding through effective communication both within the company and with their clients

Previous Experience
- Preferably some experience in a partnership or professional services environment with administrative background.

Professional/ Educational Qualification
- Strong grounding in Word and Excel
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Hours of Work Permanent, full time position - 37.5 hours per week
