Void Homes Officer
Excellent opportunity to secure a role in central London working within our client's Voids management team. You will play a key role in ensuring outgoing tenants and prospective tenants are dealt with in an effective and customer focussed way and that the voids process is managed efficiently. You will be required to liaise with contractors to ensure they provide an accurate and appropriate specification and deliver work in the agreed timescale.
Typical duties will include preparing property adverts, contacting shortlisted bidders to discuss their housing needs, explaining more about the vacant property and arranging viewings. Your role will involve working with potential tenants to identify their needs and establish what can be done to meet their needs and working with Estate Managers to ensure a smooth handover date .
The ideal candidate for this role will have worked in a similar role previously and will be well versed in the voids management process within a social housing context. It's essential that you have good communication skills and are well organised and methodical in your approach to work.
Our local authority client is based right in the middle of London so they are very easy to access. The rate will be around £20-£23/hr (umbrella). Initial contract will be 3-6 months.
