Business Development Manager - Wind Energy


Basic package circa £45k (OTE £75k+) + car and large company benefits


The Company

A market leader in the industrial rental industry and leaders in in the provision of Health and Safety best practices to all its stakeholder groups.

A market leading, highly successful organisation and one of the UK's largest construction and industrial rental companies who offer the provision of Health and Safety best practices to all its stakeholder groups are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their expanding team. Well known for offering fantastic customer service to their customers and excellent development and career progression for their employees.

The Role

The Business development Manager will identify new opportunities selling wind energy related services and solutions nationally and convert them through to a positive conclusion.

Grow and develop an effective customer base within renewable wind energy.

Manage key accounts for increased sales and development of profits.

Maintain and develop effective relationships with key customers through the use consistent reinforcement of the company ethos.

Provide technical advice and recommendations to deliver the best possible solutions to meet the needs of customers within the wind energy market.

Co-ordinate the liaison with Branches across the UK to deliver excellent customer service levels.

Work within accordance of the wider sales and marketing strategy of the company.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be passionate and devoted to furthering their Sales and Marketing career. They will demonstrate high energy, drive, ambition and development potential, with the ability to inspire change and innovate as well as a natural decision maker. You will have experience of selling into the wind energy industry.

The successful Business Development Manager will possess well-honed account management skills and a strong determination to succeed but will also has a sound technical grounding.

You will be hard working, ambitious, confident, enthusiastic, resilient and goal-orientated sales professional with an ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.

Time management essential with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines for this Business Development Manager.

Ability to overcome customer objections in order to convert lead to sale.

Naturally persuasive, creative and self-motivated you will be able to recognise opportunities and use your own initiative to convert these into sales.

Excellent communication and presentation skills are important together with strong negotiation, commercial and analytical skills.

Adaptable to change, flexible and creative in finding solutions.

A team player who works collaboratively and is approachable.

Committed to being customer focused and working in partnership with customers to deliver results for all parties.

You will have an open communication style; friendly, conscientious and committed above all you will be a team player.

A minimum of 2 years field sales executive experience selling into the renewable energy sector specifically wind energy.
