Job DescriptionSales Executive/Business Development

A fantastic sales opportunity has arisen to join an established IT Software company as a Sales Executive/Business Developer.

Basic salary is £25,000 - £27,000 and realistic OTE £35k+ (Uncapped).

Key tasks involve:
*Developing customer accounts to increase number of sales.
*Responding to web site and telephone enquires.
*Qualification of in‐bound leads to prospects.
*Following up on sales enquiries.
*Networking & attending events/exhibitions.
*Log all activities into CRM and report results.

Required Skills:
*Ideally lives within a commutable distance.
*Sales experience.
*Cold calling experience/Telesales.
*Software Sales an advantage
*Strong Communication skills.

Initially the IT Sales Consultant will be generating inbound lead activity as much as possible; there will be a lot of cold calling to help build the prospect pipeline. In addition the Sales Executive will be developing key accounts, identifying key contacts, potential and developing market attack plans.

The BDM will be responsible for finding new opportunities mostly by phone, meetings and demonstrations.

There will be a huge amount of work in the first year to build up and create appointments from their own database. The Sales role is office based apart from travelling to meetings.

It is essential that all Sales Executives have first class communication skills - written and verbal, time management, client care skills, well organised, show initiative, work to strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
