Job Description

Our client is a fantastic 5 star hotel in the heart of Royal Berkshire.

We are currently looking for an Assistant Events Sales Manager to support the Events Manager and team.

This is an office based role doing the events sales/organisation

It is a busy role, with hours as required to cover the events taking place and the requirements of the clients, this will include some weekend working as needed but on a rota basis.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel running the events office or very strong Assistant.
  • Must have hotel, groups and Wedding experience as well as group rooms
  • Highly computer literate with Opera and Delphi systems
  • Highly developed interpersonal and co-ordination skills
  • Good analytic and numeric skills

You will work alongside the Events Manager maximising revenues through precise planning of events throughout the hotel. Working closely with the hotel groups Sales Team in negotiating new and repeat business.

This is very varied role requiring someone who has a sound hotel Sales/Events background looking for their next step working for this prestigious hotel and group.
