Job DescriptionHR Advisor: An experienced CIPD qualified HR Advisor is required to provide front line advice and support on people matters to all business leaders for an innovative solutions provider that helps improve business performance through the pragmatic use of technology.

The HR Advisor will be required to assist the HR Director in the development and maintenance of UK HR policies and processes, whilst reflecting good practice and meeting all legislative requirements.

*Support the HR Director with the implementation of the People Strategy and strategic goals ensuring all are on target and achieved
*Assist in the delivery of a truly value-adding HR function, ensuring everything the highest professional standards are reached
*Build relations with colleagues, becoming a Trusted Advisor and a champion of people practices
*Be the first point of contact for leaders dealing with people & HR issues. All issues to be dealt with fairly and respectfully at all times
*Develop and implement policies and procedures consistent with company values, employment law and recognised good practice
*Develop and maintain an annual Learning & Development plan. Work alongside the HR Officer, ensuring the content is actioned and maintained up-to-date
*Assist with ensuring recruitment practices are efficient and effective and that new starter experience leads to a full and appropriate induction
*Keep abreast of new employment law impacting upon company policy and practice on an on-going basis
*Visit all UK sites throughout the year, maintain good relations and ensure any queries and concerns are dealt with in a timely manner
*Develop an annual HR Plan identified with dates for key activities throughout the year

Skills & Experience:
*CIPD qualified with at least 3 years' experience working at an adviser level in a fast-paced environment
*Understanding of aligning HR to business goals
*Proven track record of broad generalist experience including L&D
*A good understanding of strategic HR
*Good knowledge of employment law and good practice
*Good organisational skills
*High literacy & numeracy skills with attention to detail
*Interpersonal awareness and a concern for impact
*Development and results orientated
*Innovative and an ability to problem solve
*Discreet and confidential
