Job Description

Sales Operations Executive required for our Colchester based client leaders in their industry. In your role as Sales Operations Executive you will support a business unit sales team, who are selling across regions, multiple brands (products/events) and customers. The position of Sale Operations Executive is a pivotal new function within the company where you will be business linking Sales teams with the central Sales Operations team and provide structured sales administration, Salesforce (CRM), data analysis, reporting and information entry support to a business unit Sales teams. To be considered for this position you must possess strong Excel skills, excellent communications skills, used data analysis and the absolute ideal would be knowledge of Salesforce CRM.

The Role

  • Act as a liaison between sales teams, marketing and the regional CRM team
  • Supports the Sales teams to administer and service in house customer support issues for sales staff
  • Support the Sales Director to maintain a hot list of leads; actively track competitive shows and/or publications to seek out new leads
  • Actively looking at Salesforce to observe usage, movement of Sales opportunities and keeping Sales leadership informed
  • Manage and update Salesforce (CRM) and associated Sales order processing tools (ESOP, ASOP, ISOP) with sales contracts and products information through sales process
  • Providing the forms (text) for: sales, stand upsells, promo opportunities, catalogue (publishing events), stand sharing forms for the online customer tools
  • Assist with administrative activities including scheduling meetings, preparing regular forecasting, preparing presentations for budget and strategy meetings
  • Serve as Subject Matter Experts (SME) on Salesforce business process for sales teams
  • Key liaison point with Customer Service Team to handover contracted customers for post-sale customer process to commence
  • Manage timings and upload digital advertisements and provide accurate analytics for internal use and clients
  • Support Sales Managers to obtain artwork for online products

The Person

  • Excellent Communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Very strong Excel skills (CSV, Pivot Table, V-look up)
  • Experience of data analysis and manipulation
  • Ability to proactively handle and respond to customer objections
  • Knowledge of Salesforce a preference (google analytics)
  • Interpersonal skills, confident personality, high level of enthusiasm
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM desirable
  • Knowledge of digital platforms a preference (google analytics)
