Job DescriptionHead of Education Sales: Due to substantial new and sustained financial investment an ambitious and experienced Head of Education Sales is required to play a lead role in managing and growing CoachHire's education sales team.

This is a fantastic opportunity that will challenge and reward an outstanding individual.

Join a fantastic team providing customers and business clients with group transport solutions across a broad and diverse range of sectors including Education, Corporate Events, Leisure and Travel.

- Player-manager role leading a team of 4 and carrying personal target
- Help recruit, train and develop field sales team
- Accompany on pitches, feedback and support in closing of opportunities
- Manage pipeline and report up to Head of Sales
- Sell full range of products and services to education sector
- Focus on private schools, but also universities, multiple academy trusts and state schools
- Sell to bursars, operations directors, head teachers/CEOs and other senior management
- Proactively map market and generate new prospects
- Work closely with call centre team to develop and upsell leads
- Go on multiple face to face client visits a week
- Follow up meeting with professional proposals
- Work with Head of Sales to construct deals and liaise with supplier relationship manager to negotiate prices from operators
- Respond to RFPs and contract tenders
- Update sales activity on Salesforce.com including adding new clients, line managers, pipeline and journals
- Build network across client, partners and suppliers
- Understand customer needs and report back to product development team to improve customer solution
- Create urgency and always be closing

Skills & Experience:
- 2-5 years management experience
- Enjoy building and developing teams
- Track record of driving performance through direct reports
- Our ideal candidate is someone who has sold high-value managed services or technology in the education market
- A target orientated overachiever. Able to demonstrate consistent performance against multi-million pound quotas through sales career
- Comfortable generating new business from scratch
- Used to constraints and opportunities of a small company
- Be organised: able to prioritise, finish what you start, manage time, document key actions and follow up
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with proven ability to build strategic partnerships
- Proven track record of negotiating large, complex deals with schools, corporates, public sector organisations involving multiple stakeholders
- Able to have difficult conversations and not avoid conflict
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
- Extremely driven, proactive, resilient, persistent, ambitious, organised, responsible and discipline
- Detail oriented, strong written and verbal communication, organised, decisive, persuasive, driven, proactive, resilient, persistent, ambitious, responsible and disciplined.
