Job Description

A Manager, Accounts and Tax is being recruited by a dynamic firm of Accountants that specialises in accountancy, taxation and business advice to freelancers and professionals trading through their own limited companies. They pride themselves on delivering the highest level of customer service.

As a Manager you would manage a portfolio of clients of c.250 clients advising on all aspects of their business, reporting and taxation requirements and would involve considerable client contact. You would be responsible for production of annual statutory accounts for submission, VAT returns, corporation and self assessment taxation. Supervision and training of support staff would be required and the ability to delegate tasks.

A qualification preferred but not essential (AAT/ACCA/ACA/ATT/CTA) but a min of 2 years hands on practice experience and an understanding of all accounting and tax matters associated with small limited companies and directors. In addition you would need to have some commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to engage with people. Support for further study would be available.
