Job DescriptionQuantity Surveyors / Project Managers - All Levels: Are you a Graduate seeking a career in the construction sector, or an experienced construction sector specialist with skills in Estimating, Procurement, Project / Programme Management, or Quantity Surveying?

Come and work on specialist, one-off, high-quality, residential, historic building and bespoke design construction contracts from £100k - £1M, for a prestigious mid-sized construction company, the firm of choice in Devon.

We are keen to hear from Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and individuals working within office based construction project teams (i.e. Assistant QS, Project Administrator, Procurement). 3 types of vacancy exist:
*Undergraduate Intern - To support Project Managers in the planning, monitoring and execution of construction contracts using and learning construction management tools.
*Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager - A role suited to a junior QS / PM looking to develop within the role and increase their level of responsibility and experience within the industry.
*Experienced Project Managers / Quantity Surveyors - Responsible for a basket of high end new builds and refurbs with sometimes extraordinary design and challenges.

Responsibilities (dependent upon experience & role):
*Plan and programme construction work. Pre-commencement and during periodic reviews and revisions
*Raising and monitoring of requests for information
*Identifying and pricing variations to contracted works
*Team based problem solving of design & engineering challenges
*Assist with applications for payment, valuation and financial claims
*Maintain & develop commercial processes
*Development of skills in the financial and operational management of a wide range of construction projects
*Sub-contractor management - including preparation of tender packages, procurement,
tracking and managing variations, coordination of revised drawings and documentation, assessment of applications
*Procurement and Negotiation of goods & services
*Establish and maintain productive working relationships within the building team, developing trust and support for colleagues and managers
*Establish and maintain effective relationships with third parties including promoting products and services and ensuring excellent customer service
*Execution/Support for tenders & bids, take-offs, abstractions, project cost analysis, bills of quantities
*Assessment of new projects, close of and post-project management
*Effectively manage and use operational information, communicating effectively both written and verbally
