An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PR & Content Manager to join us at St Modwen

As part of the St. Modwen Logistics marketing and communications team you will work within the Logistics business unit to identify news and story-telling opportunities, and create a broad range of compelling content.

The Role

• To succeed in this role you will need to be naturally curious, a fantastic writer and be passionate about storytelling.
• Develop and execute an effective communications strategy which meets the objectives of the business and its business units, seeking to achieve high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within industry media
• Source and write press releases, newsletters, blogs, and other digital and print materials, that will resonate with our target markets
• Keep our website relevant through constantly fresh and current content to include news stories, case studies, white papers etc
• Use marketplace insights to develop written and visual marketing content that engages existing and potential customers
• Develop and manage an annual content calendar
• Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
• Respond to messages, comments, and mentions on all platforms
• Manage and protect the reputation of St Modwen Logistics In relation to generic responsibilities

The Candidate

• Experience in PR and / or journalism would be hugely valuable, as would experience in writing thought leadership articles and industry white paper
• Sound understanding and application of media relations and PR, a balance of PR agency and client experience
• Experience of reputation management
• Ability to write good copy and journalist content with good application of tone of voice
• Have good people skills and ability to extract key information to put together a compelling story
• Able to manage and influence multiple stakeholders will be key to this role
• Create a broad range of compelling content that can be applied across our traditional and digital channels (internal and external audiences)
• Ability identify a good story and translate into clear and concise copy, relevant to our different audiences.
• Proven track record of designing and executing successful public relations campaigns
• Ability to interpret industry information and translate it to simple, effective communications
• Be naturally curious, a fantastic writer and be passionate about story-telling
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
