Assistant Financial Controller

An automotive component manufacturer with multiple sites in the UK and the West Midlands require an Assistant Financial Controller to support the Plant Financial Controller in controlling all plant costs and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in automotive and worked in a larger size organisation.

Package: £50,000 - £55,000 p.a. + Pension + Free Parking

The Role

Reporting to the Plant Controller you will hold the following responsibilities:

-Supporting the Plant Controller in controlling all plant costs and internal controls.
-Compiling the annual budgets and ensuring all plant statutory reporting requirements are met.
-Working closely with the Senior Commercial and Operational Management to ensure the plant remains profitable and driving cost saving through economic efficiency.

The Person

Essentially, you will be CIMA Qualified and hold experience in the following:

-Accounting experience working in automotive with experience of standard costing systems.
-Worked in an organisation with a sales turnover in excess of £100 Million.
-An understanding of the IATF16949 and ISO9001 Quality Systems is desirable.
-Adaptable to different ERP systems.
-Experience of SOX internal Audit procedures is desirable.
