Amazing opportunity for a Graduate or experienced Teaching AssistantAn outstanding school in South London is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join them immediately.

This will be a full time Teaching Assistant post, with working days being Monday to Friday.

Working hours as a Teaching Assistant at the school are 8am to 4pm.

If you interview successfully, you will be offered a long term post as a Teaching Assistant and be expected to meet all the requirements for the position, as well as uphold the ethos of the school.

You will need to be able to support pupils across all key stages as a Teaching Assistant.

General responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant will include but not be limited to; assisting lower attainting pupils in class, working 1:1 with specific SEN pupils and carrying out brief refresher sessions for particular groups of children.

The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £70 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.

Recent inspections have ranked the school amongst Britain's finest schools. Founded in 1596, the school is the oldest school in the borough.

The school offers a number of academic pathways including A Level, Pre U, the IB and BTEC. They also offer a bilingual area for native French speakers.

Sports is a big part of the schools ethos and they have won a number of awards over the years. A variety of sports are practiced, and a high number of pupils go on to pursue a career in sports.

Performing Arts also plays a major role for pupils who are passionate about Drama and Music.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you a Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Teaching Assistant or overseas trained Teaching Assistant.

Clear and up to date DBS
UK Bachelors Degree or overseas equivalent
