Ford and Stanley Recruitment are working with a Supply Chain and Product Solution company who have recently appointed a new leadership team to drive and develop new processes so they achieve their aim to become the market leader in their industry. This role is specifically working on the Managed service agreement for one of the largest global companies in Rolling Stock Manufacture.
This a varied and dynamic role, requiring as much time on the shop floor as behind the computer. Delivering a long-standing Managed Service Agreement is demanding and will require somebody who can manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels while ensuring all agreed upon projects and services are delivered on schedule.
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for finding improvements in operations/cost savings etc. volumes planning, Inventory Management etc
Managing the operational team on a day to basis, responding to customer demands, responding to late deliveries etc.
Shop floor environment as based in a small office within the warehouse.
Experience within a Logistics/ Warehousing/ Material Control operational management position.
Leadership/ Management experience
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence customers and senior management
