Azure Infrastructure Engineer - SC Cleared

Location: Remote with offices in Cheshire, Lancashire, Oxfordshire and Workington.
Contract: Outside IR35
Pay rate: Up to £550 per day
Duration 3 months rolling contract
Start date: ASAP
Required: Active SC Clearance

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support the change projects.
The infrastructure Engineers skill should include but not be limited to:
o Take a proactive approach to continually improving the performance and security of the infrastructure.
o Implementing IaaS/SaaS/PaaS change in Azure in line with their security principles and work practices
o Implementing M365 change to support the Applications team in line with their security principles and work practices

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Solid understanding of windows server administration/support & maintenance
• Solid understanding of network configuration of VLANs / tagging etc., network gateways, checkpoint interfaces, firewall rules, switching and routing
• An understanding of CIS L1
• Demonstratable experience with cloud technology in an enterprise setting (Azure)
• Demonstratable experience with Active directory and group policy
• Experience and understanding of common enterprise tooling including compliance and backups
• Experience with VMware ESXi/vCenter management
• Exposure to Intune and M365 tooling including Intune administration
• Self-motivated, proactive and customer focused attitude with excellent organisational and strong analytical skills
