Content Executive Role

The Exciting Role:

We are looking to grow our team with an exceptional content executive who will support the content strategy of our leading fertility clinic and associated brands. As a content expert, you will be a confident communicator with excellent copywriting skills and a successful track record in developing engaging content across multiple channels.

Working as part of a small marketing team, the successful candidate will be passionate, team-orientated, versatile, quick to learn, and commercially aware. You will create content to promote our clinic's core messages and help to shape our tone of voice.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all company content needs - developing creative content across a range of channels to including online and offline media.
Research and develop topical and engaging blog content for our websites
Develop page content for website pages, ensuring pages are optimised for search engines
Assist with content for our website search adverts (Google, Bing etc) making sure it is 'on brand'
Assist with content for our social adverts (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) making sure it is 'on brand'
Create content for patient marketing emails
Create content for new patients leaflets and refresh content for existing leaflets
Write engaging news and articles for the local press and industry publications
Update and create compelling directory entries
Develop persuasive award entry content
Develop copy for internal communications vehicles such as e-newsletters and ad-hoc emails
Develop our tone of voice guidelines and shape the messaging for our different brands
Research engaging and current topics for content creation
Proof reading copy for other members of the marketing team
Contribute to wider brand content requirements, such as sourcing imagery and photography to accompany written contentIdeal Candidate:

Be educated to degree level (Ideally Marketing, Journalism or English degree)
2 - 3 years' experience working in a similar content role
Experience in writing for B2C audiences (preferred but not essential)
Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
Experience of uploading web content using a content management system (CMS)
Good verbal communication skills
Experience in developing content plans
Impeccable attention to detail
Understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
An independent thinker who has the ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Willingness to be part of a busy team and help others with marketing tasks

Job Specifics:

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £25 - £30k dependant on experience

Contract Type: Full time permanent

Location: Cheadle (with one day working from home per week)
