A prestigious property business in Central London is looking to recruit a Management Accountant. Full Time or Part Time 4 days per week / 12-15 Months FTC.

The Management Accountant will provide both an accurate and efficient financial reporting service and be responsible for delivering the management accounts across the organisation's property and charitable interests.

The role holder will be required in the office four days per week with one day spent working from home. 4 days per week part time working will be also considered for the right individual.

Management Accountant Responsibilities:

Preparing the management and financial accounts on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis for various arms of the business depending on the requirements

Conducting monthly bank reconciliations and monthly investment portfolio reconciliations

Supporting the Charities Accountant via the provision of ad-hoc financial reporting and commercial analysis

Accurately completing HMRC requirements and Gift Aid tax claims

Identifying areas of improvement across current systems, procedures and processes

Reconciling aged debtor reports relating to the Property portfolio

Providing collaborative support as required, including covering other members of the Finance team during periods of absence

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified/recently qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

Demonstrable experience in a similar accountancy role with proven management accounting and financial reporting skills

Previous property sector experience advantageous

Able to produce management accounts and financial accounts to completion

Experience and understanding of budgetary cost control and associated reporting

Confident and articulate, with initiative and a problem solving disposition

A team player, focused, motivated with good interpersonal skills

Ability and appetite to learn new tasks and work out ways of improving systems and processes

Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of different audiences

Flexible, proactive and willing to support the team
