Our client is seeking a switched-on, enthusiastic candidate, with good Microsoft Excel skills who is looking for an administrative role, and has already worked in an accounts department, or has interest in doing so.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 9.00am until 5.00pm. The annual salary is up to £20,000 depending on experience.

Benefits include:

24 days holiday (3 days to be used for Christmas closure plus 1 day to be reserved for Christmas Eve should this fall on a weekday. After 5 years' service, holiday increases by 1 day per year for years 5, 6 and 7 (up to 27 day). A further day holiday per year following 10 years' service (Max 28)

Follow procedures to assist in opening new accounts and contracts
Process sales, adhering to the internal authorisations and processes
Carry out weekly audits
Check queries have been amended correctly
Check and distribute daily invoices
Ensure customer purchase orders are up to date
Carry entry of invoices onto an online system
Assist with month end invoicing and processing of credit notes
Process and update monthly management reports
Update monthly customer reports
Process and check workshop invoices
Daily cash reconciliations
Work with Credit Control to resolve customer queries
Ensure monthly debtors lists have been produced and distributed
Assist in creating monthly customer and management reports (Excel)

An enthusiastic attitude towards both work and learning new systems and processes
A positive and flexible attitude with the ability to act on own initiative
Excellent problem-solving skills for timely and efficient resolution of invoice queries
Capable of working well under pressure, prioritise workloads and adhere to strict deadlines
IT literate - Word and Outlook are essential
Intermediate in Excel - able to manipulate reports and filter information
