ICT Support Engineer

£22kpa-£26kpa
37.5 hours per week
Our Client is currently recruiting for an ICT Support Engineer to join their team in Swindon. You will be supporting local businesses and Primary Schools in the Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire & Berkshire areas.
Personal Specification:
* Excellent communication skills and be well organised
* Have the ability to work well on your own or in a team
* Be punctual and able to meet deadlines
* To hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for daily business use
* Good PC/Laptop hardware knowledge
* Experience of network cabling, patching, small scale installation & troubleshooting
Job Role:
* Find solutions to problems and have a hands-on approach to support activities both remotely and onsite
* Knowledge of Windows Client Operating Systems (Windows 7, 10)
* An awareness of server OS: Windows Server version (2012 & 2016, 2019) and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
* Routine Microsoft system admin tasks, user creation & general system management
* Networking installations, management & troubleshooting - switches, routers, wireless access points and controlled wireless networks
* Supporting mobile devices and relevant OS (Android & Apple)
* Security Solutions - Antivirus, Malware, Ransomware
* Use of helpdesk ticketing systems for logging of incidents and workflow
Benefits:
* Fuel expenses paid at 45p per mile
* All equipment needed for role provided, laptop, tools etc
* 20 days paid holiday and bank holidays
Hours of work will be Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
